Your team showed some promise last season, do you think that drive still remains?
The drive still remains, we are coming stronger , better, more composed and with more energy
Your first match is against the defending champions, what is your confidence level?
The defending champions are a strong team no doubt , but we aren’t fretting, This is football, the game is the game , anything can happen. The boys are fired up for this one, on a scale of 10 , I’ll give us a 9.
From what we’ve seen, this team seems to be loud in terms of banter, do you believe you have the quality to win this tourney?
Banter ? Epimelis? Nah……. Evgenis is the King of Banter….We bring energy into the tournament Evgenis have World Class players fit to win this journey….. Our Quality is World Class.
Do you have any words for your players and Evgenis supporters before the tournament starts?
To our Supporters, We are going to bring the cup home this tournament, Evgenis no dey carry last 🔥To my Players, Stay focused, Stay Sharp , Avoid any mind games from the opponent, We are bringing the cup home.

Your team won the tournament last year, does that add to your momentum going into this?
Not really something we think about too much. Winning isn’t new to us, it’s a habit.
We did not really see your team playing any matches during the off-season. Don’t you think your players are a bit rusty?
Rusty??, I wouldn’t say that.
Can you rate your chance of winning this tournament?
We don’t deal in percentages. We’ll just take it one game at a time and see how it goes.
